Officials at the state fire marshal’s office say a blaze at a Winslow home was intentional.
Winslow firefighters responded to the fire at 328 Abbott Road at 11:43 p.m. Monday, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss.
“Fire Investigators responded to the scene and determined that the fires were intentionally set,” Moss stated. “The sole occupant of the home, identified as 40-year-old Joseph Forestell was taken into protective custody by Winslow Police and transported to a local hospital for an evaluation.”
The investigation is ongoing but no further information has been released.
