Former President Donald Trump’s first press secretary is the headliner at the Maine Republican Party Convention set for later this month.
Sean Spicer, who worked for Trump for the first six months of his term in 2017, is now the host of The Sean Spicer Show podcast.
He’s scheduled to address the convention Friday, April 26 as the keynote speaker, according to an alert sent out Thursday by GOP Party Chairman Joel Stetkis.
“We’re very excited to have Sean come to Maine to talk about restoring freedom to the Pine Tree State and across the USA,” Stetkis wrote.
The convention is set for April 26 and April 27 at the Augusta Civic Center.
Although you must be a delegate to attend the convention, Spicer’s speech is open to non-delegates who purchase tickets. Prices start at $60 for a banquet meal ticket.
He’ll also host a private reception with tickets starting at $150 or $1,000 to be an event sponsor.
Before his tenure in the Trump administration, Spicer worked as communications director for the Republican National Committee from 2011 to 2017.
