Maine State Police are investigating the deaths of a mother and daughter found on Wednesday in Farmington.

Police said a call came in at 10:45 p.m. reporting that two people were found dead at the Pawsitive Dog Kennel on Red Schoolhouse Road. Police identified the victims as Jean Robinson, 76, and Allison Cumming, 53. They lived in a separate building from the kennel, but on the same property.

Police said the chief medical examiner in Augusta has performed an autopsy on both victims. While police said they do not believe there is any threat to the public, the cause of death is not being disclosed.
