Seven people are facing felony drug charges related to alleged fentanyl trafficking in Bucksport.
Over a two-week period, police arrested Edmund Osborne, 63, of Bucksport, Joshua Moore, 38, of Bucksport, Daniel Needham, 47, of Brewer, Tiffany Dow, 40, of Bangor, Tobey Harrington, 30, of Bangor, Sara Winters, 34, of Bucksport, and Zachary Turcotte, 24, of Orland.
Osborne, Moore and Winters were charged with one count each of Class B unlawful trafficking in fentanyl, while the others were charged with one count each of Class A aggravated trafficking in fentanyl.
The arrests follow an eight-month investigation by the Bucksport Police and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency’s Downeast Task Force. Police performed “numerous undercover purchases” of fentanyl in Bucksport as part of the investigation.
