Cinco de Mayo Karaoke at Eagles Club Skowhegan

Salsa Night – First Fridays with Danza Latina - Lessons and Latin Dance Party

This is the place to let loose and learn some Latin dances. A one-hour beginners lesson led by Anna Golendukhina gets things started followed by a Latin Dance Party until closing.  Click here for tickets and more details.

Images of Neuroscience, Images of Transcendence: UNE Art Gallery Biddeford
This exhibit will feature images of biological samples produced by scientists on UNE’s Biddeford Campus in a conversation with the work of contemporary Maine painter Honour Mack. Discover more information by clicking here.

Freeport Wild Bird Supply - Spring Hawkwatch at Bradbury Mountain State Park
Come and spot a hawk or several. The second highest spring tally of the northbound rapture on the Eastern seaboard passes this area as birds make a decision to move inland, up the river valleys, or make a turn to the East.  Click here for additional information.

Saturday, May 6

Scarborough Kiwanis Fishing Derby
This is the 36th Annual Fishing Derby at Bayley's Camping Resort in Scarborough. Join other avid fishermen for a day filled of fun, fishing, and prizes. Prizes awarded based on age groups. All proceeds benefit the Scarborough community.  Click here for more information in their calendar.

Mothers Are Magic-Makers Market

Calf Cuddling

It’s ME Water Buffalo Company's kickoff event for 2023. Go and meet this year's water buffalo babies. Cuddle the calves, visit the pigs, feed & pet the goats. The farm store will be open with water buffalo cheeses, yogurt & gelato, water buffalo meat, whey fed pork, and more. More information is available right here.

The Wizard of Oz
Follow the yellow brick road to see this live performance. Midcoast Youth Theater presents this classic motion picture by Turner Entertainment Co. and distributed in all media by Warner Bros. Click your heels or click here for ticket information.

Sabattus Farmer and Artisan Market

Girls Rock!
Each year, the Maine Academy of Modern Music hosts its annual Girls Rock! Event.  This is a celebration of girls' involvement in music featuring performances by MAMM’s student bands and solo performers. More information is right here.

Super Hero Event
Who's your super hero? Join in the four hours of hero-themed event and activities. Come in full costume and meet various costumed characters. Understanding Bird Language
We’re the only species who moves through our environment unresponsive to the communication around us. Discover the meaning of bird interactions with each other, predators, other species. This is an outdoor program. Class meets on the back lawn behind the Visitor Center. Learn more by clicking here.
