Friday, June 7

SCCA National Pro Solo
This promises to be an adrenaline-pumping autocross format competition where solo isn’t solo. Drivers run a course by themselves, but start off side-by-side drag racing style and see who gets back to their respective finish lines first. ProSolo class competition takes 1.5 days where each driver gets three sets of runs to put together the best run from each side. Learn more here.

2nd Annual Foodie Fest
A two-day festival of food at the fairgrounds.  There’s more to do than just eat.  There is a petting zoo, face painting, balloon animals, a bounce house and other activities for the family. Learn more by clicking here.

Mudbowl 2024
This is Spud's first annual mud bowl. Organizers say this event will be the perfect way to kick off the summer season.  Monster trucks, Mega trucks and Square body trucks will all be there. Find more details by clicking here.

Saturday, June 8

Capital Area Federal Credit Annual Annual Yard Sale
Doing some spring cleaning? Let your unwanted items become someone else's treasures. Go and check out this yard sale that raises money for a special cause. All proceeds go to benefit Special Olympics Maine.  See more on their Facebook page.

Skatecationland Roller Derby Tournament
Maine Roller Derby will host its first international tournament today and tomorrow. Read more by clicking here or below.

All Star Monster Truck Tour
More trucks! Organizers say this is the only one place to be to check out trucks of all shapes and sizes. Check it out for yourself. Click here for more details.

Sunday, June 9

Touch-A-Truck
Jonesboro Grange 357 is hosting a Touch-A-Truck for the Jonesboro/Roque Bluffs VFD. There will be emergency vehicles, construction vehicles, and more. Kids will be able to spray Indian tanks, learn about the gear firefighters wear and fire safety. This is a free event but food and drinks will be available for purchase. The Resurgam Music and Arts Festival
This festival is back for its third year. The Maine Academy of Modern Music is partnering with the City of Portland and local community businesses to offer this one-day music and arts festival at Ocean Gateway and the surrounding areas. Crystal Singing Bowl Healing with Cats
Organizers say research studies have shown that this form of therapy can assist the wellbeing of both the physical and mental health of a person.  The therapy is carried out by creating vibrations in crystal molecules and may restore the mind, body and soul into a balanced state.  Read more here.
