GRANADA HILLS, Calif. – More than 8,000 people felt a 3.6 magnitude earthquake in Granada Hills just before midnight on Tuesday, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The earthquake hit at exactly 11:41 p.m. with a depth of 4 kilometers.

The breadth of the earthquake was felt all the way up to Santa Clarita and extended west to Oxnard.

A total of 8,413 people reported that they felt the earthquake. No one was injured and no structures were damaged. Earthquakes below a 5 magnitude will not leave behind any significant damage.
