2025 Rochester Lilac Festival

More than half a million people are expected to fill Highland Park for one of Rochester's biggest events of the year. The famous lilacs are in bloom, the vendors have arrived and the musical lineup is set for the 127th annual Lilac Festival. Besides the flowers, the festival food vendors are one of the event's biggest attractions. The list for 2025 includes favorites like Macarollin, Wraps on Wheels, KO-BQ Korean Food Truck. The festival has a list of free concerts during the 10-day event. Headliners like Katie Pruitt, Chayce Beckham, Rochester party band The Skycoasters and the Taylor Swift tribute Cruel Summer will perform. There is also the annual parade happening on Saturday, May 10.

Mother's Day Brunch at GCV&M

On Mother’s Day, interpreters in the Historic Village will showcase a number of tasks and activities reflective of what life was like for 19th-century mothers. Explore historic homes, kitchens and heirloom gardens, and don’t forget to treat mom to a traditional 19th-century pastry from the D.B. Munger & Co. Confectionery. Looking for a special gift for mom? Don’t forget to stop by the Flint Hill Store to peruse handcrafted goods made right here in the Historic Village, work by local artisans, treats, sweets, and more. And most importantly, don’t forget that all Moms receive free admission to the Historic Village on Mother’s Day.

Pink & Teal Challenge

This is the Breast Cancer Coalition's 23rd annual walk and run event. Participate in-person or virtually. Featuring a women-only 5K and an all-inclusive, family-friendly walk. Best individual and best group costume contests are back. All proceeds stay local to provide free cutting-edge programs and services to anyone facing a breast or gynecological cancer diagnosis in our community.
