TAMPA, Fla. — Kenya Alexander and Alicia Kindberg have been team teaching at Primavera Preschool for almost 10 years. They were both nominated to be featured as A+ Teachers. A parent reached out to Bay News 9 to share how much of a difference they’re making in students’ lives.
“To know that we are impacting [them] and the families pay attention to that, it’s amazing,” said Alexander.

“We’re easy to get along with. We’re easy going and we work well with each other. We’re very creative together,” both teachers expressed.
Alexander has been a teacher for more than 20 years. Kindberg has been teaching for 25 years. Both love working with VPK students each day.
“It’s so exciting. Every day is so different, and it’s an adventure,” said Kindberg.
“I love everything about it. The kids. I come to school and they make me feel happy,” said Alexander.
Both teachers are helping students learn skills they’ll need now and for future grades.
“Creating a better society for our upcoming generation by teaching social, emotional skills, expressions and then too preparing them for kindergarten,” said Alexander.
