Hawaii's 25th District State Representative is Sylvia Luke. As a legislator, she enjoys finding common ground with her colleagues to help her state. She was inspired to run in 1998 to change the direction of state politics. 

In her Know Your Electeds interview, Luke shared that the biggest lesson she's learned while in office is to appreciate all points of view; she believes empathy can solve many problems. 

On an ideal day, Luke would be surrounded by friends, as she thrives off the energy of others. Her hidden talent is raising corydoras catfish.
