Hawaii State Senator Stanley Chang started in politics in the East Honolulu City Council. He is now the State Senator for Hawaii's 9th senate district, which he considers one of the best places to raise a family. 

In his Know Your Electeds interview, Chang shared that he believes his work on road improvements to be one of his biggest legislative accomplishments of his career thus far. If he could pass any bill tomorrow, it would be to implement the legislation, Affordable Locally Owned Homes for All (ALOHA Homes)

When asked to describe his district in three words, Chang chose "beautiful, safe, and peaceful." His first job was in his college's admissions office.
