A state and city pilot program, which launched last fall, pairs up MTA police officers with mental health professionals to tour the subway system.

The SCOUT program looks to get New Yorkers with severe mental illness connected to services and supportive housing.

Since the program launched, officials say 113 New Yorkers were moved to shelters.

On “Inside City Hall,” NY1 political anchor Errol Louis took a closer look at the efforts with Brian Stettin, senior adviser to the Adams administration, and Jeremy Feigelson, special counsel for the MTA.
