Due to a widespread commercial power outage affecting much of Oahu Tuesday, the Hawaii Department of Education announced Solomon Elementary School on Schofield Barracks will be closed Wednesday.
The announcement was made on the DOE's website.

The program prepares young adults ages 18 to 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities for employment through real-world work experiences.
UH also provided tips for parking, watching the ceremony, and more.
High school students, college students and K-12 teachers are encouraged to apply to the new program.
