NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The NFTA-Metro Transportation Center on Portage Road in Niagara Falls is livelier than ever, thanks to the work of Buffalo artist Jalen Law.

Earlier this year, Law painted the first brushstrokes of a mural on the facility's wall.

The installation comes with a QR code that allows viewers to interact with the piece, an element Law included to align with his mission of making the community feel closer to their transportation system.

This is the second mural he has done in Niagara Falls, and he appreciates the city for allowing him to make an impact through his art.

“I’m very excited for it to be complete, to have this project completed," Law said. "I see it on two different levels; on one level using art as a tool to serve the community as a whole. But on another level, the city of Niagara Falls has given me an opportunity to really develop my skillset as an artist and to use my art form for a larger scope, how to really impact people in a positive way and for that I’m very thankful.”
