A warming trend starts today, and with very saturated soils from recent rains, it will feel muggy for most with heat index near 100 degrees.

While our overall trends show low rain chances, we can’t rule out a stray isolated shower or two into the evening hours, otherwise expect partly cloudy skies with more sunshine mixing in.

High temperatures sit just over 90 for DFW, with lower to mid-90s for Central and South-Central Texas and mid-90s to 100s for coastal regions to Laredo and El Paso.

Low rain chances linger into the weekend, but the majority of us will stay dry, with temperatures climbing to seasonably warm values.

For Saturday, any afternoon rain will be isolated and mainly east of I-35, for Father’s Day spotty showers and showers could spread in up to 30% into the second half of the day!

Happiest of Father’s Days to all the Texas Dads!
