There is nothing but good news in the forecast! Under clear skies, overnight lows will be 5-10 degrees warmer, so don’t worry about freezing temperatures again. (Hopefully until the fall)
Southerly winds will increase to 5 to 15 mph on Tuesday with sunny skies continuing and temperatures climbing back into the low to mid 70s, which is near-normal for early spring.
Sunny and pleasant weather continues through the end of the week as mid-level ridging builds over the southwest and a dry air mass settles over Texas.
Southern surface winds will nudge temperatures into the upper 70s to mid-80s across much of the region by midweek. Highs return to above normal conditions through Thursday with readings in the 80s and 90s in South Texas.
Late Thursday, we’ll catch the tail end of a weak cold front. This will briefly knock a few degrees off our temperatures, but no rain is expected for sure — not even a cloud in ours skies.
Our mid-level ridge progressively builds heading into the weekend too, which will allow temperatures to climb into the 80s and 90s by Sunday.
Overall, the next several days will feature the most pleasant spring weather we could ask for. Enjoy!
