SAN ANTONIO — The man who allegedly stole a “Make America Great Again,” or "MAGA," hat from a 16-year-old has been indicted by a grand jury.

The charge stems from an incident at a San Antonio Whataburger in July. According to police, Kino Jimenez allegedly removed a MAGA cap from a teen’s head without his consent and tossed a large glass of soda and ice on his face. A video of the incident was posted on social media and quickly went viral. 

Jimenz was indicted Wednesday and is facing a theft of a person charge.
