AUSTIN, Texas — The woman who was found deceased on 6th Street over the weekend has been identified as 23-year-old Queen C. Benson.

According to police, on April 13 at 4:19 a.m. they received a call that a woman fell off a building near the intersection of East 6th Street and Brazos. When they arrived they found Benson on the sidewalk with obvious trauma and she was unresponsive. Austin/Travis County EMS attended to her, however, she was pronounced deceased at 4:43 a.m.
Homicide detectives were on scene and interviewed witnesses.
The Travis County Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy but is awaiting toxicology before making an official ruling.
Police do not believe this is a suspicious death.
