AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department said a death in downtown Austin over the weeked is not suspicious.

The woman was found dead on the sidewalk near the intersection of East 6th Street and Brazos Saturday morning. Paramedics arrived, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say the woman appeared to have injuries that caused her death and an autopsy is being performed to identify the official cause. Her identity has not been released and authorities said anyone with information about what happened, is asked to call police.
