AUSTIN, Texas — A Williamson County Sheriff’s Office deputy was arrested by Austin police on charges of resisting arrest and public intoxication.
On Saturday, March 3, at approximately 9 p.m. the deputy, not identified at this time, was arrested by the Austin Police Department.

According to WilCo, other charges may be pending, but they are unknown at this point.
The deputy was placed on administrative leave the night of the incident. Effective immediately, the Williamson County Sheriff’s office has placed him on indefinite suspension. Per WCSO policy, the name of the deputy will not be release until at least 48 hours after the incident.
