ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- An arrest has been made in connection with a Rochester homicide investigation last month.
Amari Brown is expected to be arraigned in Rochester City Court on Friday on a second-degree murder charge.
Investigators say the 22-year-old Rochester man stabbed 42-year-old Monica Sherman of Rochester at a home on Lyell Avenue on July 24. She died at the scene.
Officers responded to a call shortly before midnight to a call of a body found, and launched the investigation.
There's no word on a possible motive.
