Police say a man driving a motorcycle was struck by a car and killed at approximately 3 p.m. Friday on Delmar and Otis Streets.

According to Captain Michael Callari, the motorcycle was traveling West on Otis Street when a black Kia sedan turned left infront of it.

The motorcyclist, 55-year-old Lee Thomas of Rochester, struck the front of the sedan and was pronounced dead by medical personnel at the scene.

The 20-year-old male driver of the car was cited for failing to yield the right of way.

It was the second fatal motorcycle crash in the city in three days. On Wednesday, a 16-year-old died after crashing his dirt bike into a parked car.
