ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- ROCovery Fitness has opened its new Dewey Avenue outreach center, catering to people living with or affected by addiction. The group revolves around fitness and recovery, and got its start when friends struggling with sobriety went on a hike.

Missing on Monday was Patrick Mullin, who helped found the group. He recently lost his own battle with addiction.

Ashley Gnau comes here knowing she's not alone. Her drug of choice, like so many who walk through these doors, was heroin. She says she's been clean for four months, recovering for herself and for her three young children. She says thanks to ROCovery, she has more hope now in life, than ever.
