ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Alan Davidson is no stranger to waiting in line. For years, he's waited for hours in lines outside venues to be the first through the door to buy tickets - but this one is a little different.

Davidson is 79 years old. In October, he'll be 80. All he wants for his birthday is a front row seat to see one of his favorites - Tony Bennett. Bennett will be performing at Kodak Hall Oct. 8.

Davidson came out with his chair early Friday morning to be the first in the Eastman Theatre ticket line, something he's no stranger to. Davidson has been the first in line 16 times for store and restaurants openings.

"They think I'm crazy and nuts. But you know what? I don't care because I enjoy live and I love life and keeps me young," said Davidson.

He hopes to continue being first in line. His goal is to get to 20.

Davidson was in fact successful and got himself some front row tickets!
