ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Youth organization WellVentions teamed up with Lori’s Natural Foods Saturday afternoon for a sampling of healthy specialty foods.

Under the Farish Foundation, teenagers from 14 to 17 are taught entrepreneurship. They develop leadership skills along with planning and business education. They also learn what are called the "4 E's": how to eat healthy, exercise, have healthy emotions and economic health.

"We teach the kids nutrition and health, and they learn about fat and sugar and how much fat is in a burger and how much sugars in soda. They develop healthy food and help share what they learn with the public," said Executive Director Jill Stolt of WellVentions.

Stolt also said those who participated learn tips on how to build healthy bodies.
