Erin Flynn drove in six runs and earned the victory on the mound as Pittsford Mendon won a marathon over Irondequoit, 17-13.

The Vikings advance to face top-seeded Brighton in the semifinals on Friday.

The Eagles took an early lead on Ayana Chodak's home run but Flynn had two, two-run doubles and Mendon soon had a 6-3 lead.

Back came Irondequoit with four runs in the fifth, highlighted by Olivia Schiarabba's two-run double.

Faith Curtis singled home Hannah Trumble in the top of the sixth to tie the game 7-7 and force extra innings.

The Vikings up five in the top of the eighth and the Eagles responded with five in the bottom half, Chodak with a two-run double in the frame.

Top of the 10th, Mendon scored five more runs for a 17-12 lead.
