Fourth seed Webster Schroeder hosted city league champion and fifth seed McQuaid in our Friday Night Matchup.

First quarter, Knights quarterback Hunter Walsh found Divine Williams over the middle for a big gain. Two plays later, A.J. Fina scored to put McQuaid up 7-0.

Knights with the game’s first big defensive play, as Williams intercepted a pass and returned it to the Schroeder 10 yard line.

That led to a field goal and 10-0 McQuaid lead.

Knights scored again later in the first quarter. Walsh to Williams for the touchdown put McQuaid up 17-0 at the half.

Schroeder got on the board in the third quarter. Brees Segala to Ben Mauro, but Warriors were still down 17-7 in the third quarter.

In the fourth quarter, Schroeder's final drive of the game ended with a Ben Beauchamp interception. McQuaid with four picks in the game.

20-7 the final. The Knights advance to the semifinals where they'll face the winner of Churchville-Chili and Pittsford.
