ROCHESTER, N.Y. — It's a chance to travel the world with your best friend, and possibly win $1 million.

The reality show "The Amazing Race" held a casting call at the Lilac Festival Thursday.

Auditions include each team making a video, introducing themselves and discussing how they met along with why they're right for the show.

Some people even use video chat to audition with a partner from out of state.

Hopefuls say it's all about testing themselves both physically and emotionally.

"I've seen a few people that look like me so I feel like there could be more representation for other young athletic black women that want to travel, want to try new things, want to meet new people, want to be in different places that allow them to use their different language skills, which I have because I grew up in Ghana West Africa. Speak French, my dad was Muslim so I learned Arabic. So there are different things about that, that feel like I could put myself to a test and Amazing Race facilitates that," said auditioner Stanley Martin.
