SOUTH BRISTOL, N.Y. — This chilly spring has been great for the local ski industry.

Bristol Mountain says it's going to be open in the month of May, even if it's just for a few hours.

The Ontario County ski resort says it'll open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday — the first time Bristol Mountain will have skiing across seven months.

That's 128 days of skiing between November and this first day of May.

While it's not the longest season ever, Bristol says this is the latest it's been open.

The previous latest closing date was April 18th in 1993.
