CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Authorities in Ontario County say a fire at a motel in Canandaigua Wednesday night was intentionally set.
Firefighters say they were called to the Pinewood Manor Motel on Lakeshore Drive around 11:45 p.m.
When they arrived smoke was coming from the back of one of the buildings, and the room the fire started in was vacant at the time.
Damage was limited and deputies say no one was hurt.
There is a criminal investigation now looking for the person who set the fire.
