ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester police say they've arrested the man who they say ran from the scene of an officer-involved shooting on Wilkins Street Sunday night.

Investigators say 26-year old Randy Love was with an attorney when he turned himself.

He's charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.

Police say when Officer Daniel Rizzo and Officer Jeremy Lindauer tried to take Love into custody on Wilkins Street Sunday night, a scuffle broke out.

Investigators say a gun fell from Love during that fight and when another man picked up the weapon, Rizzo pulled his gun and fired, injuring the second man.

The injured man was taken to the hospital.

Both Officers Rizzo and Lindauer are on administrative duties while the department investigates.

RPD still hasn't released the name of the person shot, but say he's in stable condition at the hospital and that charges are pending.
