ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man police say was trying to get away from two armed robbers crashed on Rochester's west side.

Police say a 25-year-old Rochester man was sitting inside his car on Renyolds Street shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday when two suspects came up and attempted to rob him at gun point. 

The victim drove away, and one of the suspects fired their gun, nothing was hit. 

However, in an attempt to flee, the victim crashed on Seward Street, suffering minor injuries.  

Police are still searching for the two people in connection with the attempted robbery.
