ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man has serious injuries after he was hit by a car at the intersection of East Avenue and Union Street in Rochester around 9 p.m. Sunday.
Police say a 71-year old Rochester man didn't follow traffic signals when he walked into the roadway and was hit.
He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, however police say he is expected to survive.
The driver was not given any tickets.
