Court has ended for the day for the former Brockport kindergarten teacher arrested as part of a child pornography sting.
Roland Yockel, 30, arrived in federal court Wednesday with new counsel.
Yockel is charged with second-degree receipt and distribution of child pornography after an international investigation stretching to New Zealand.
Yockel was placed on administrative leave from Ginther Elementary School last week.
The district says it has no reason to believe the arrest has any connection to the school.
Investigators say Yockel lives in his parents’ home in Hilton, where they also provide babysitting services.
Police say DVDs with pornography on them were found during a search of that home.
Yockel is due back in court on December 11.
