One person is dead after a fire in Oneida County.

The county Sheriff's Office tells us crews responded to Deeley Road in the Town of Vienna around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night after reports of a fire with someone trapped inside.

They arrived to find the home engulfed in flames. Four fire departments helped put out the fire.

Around 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning, crews were able to locate the body of an adult male inside the structure. The name of the victim is being withheld at this time.

The cause is under investigation.
