With New York lifting most COVID-19 restrictions Tuesday after the state reached the mark of 70% of people 18 and over with at least one round of vaccinations, NYRA announced that Saratoga Race Course will open this summer at 100% capacity.
Fans in attendance will no longer be required to provide vaccination status, according to a NYRA press release, though unvaccinated people must wear a mask at the track.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo had previously announced that spectators providing proof of vaccination would receive free grandstand access to opening day at Saratoga on Thursday, July 15.
Single-day ticket sales start Wednesday, June 23.
