A woman has been accused of an early morning stabbing in Schenectady.
Schenectady police say it happened at the Summit Towers apartment complex on Albany Street around 4 a.m. Tuesday.
A 35-year-old woman was stabbed in the back and was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment.
Police later found Janalynn Anderson, 47 of Schenectady, and charged her with second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The victim’s name has not yet been released, but her injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
Anderson is being held, expected to be arraigned sometime Tuesday.
