SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Cleanup is underway across the Capital Region Thursday and thousands of people remain without power after high winds overnight.

The North Country was the hardest hit, especially in Warren County where the bulk of the outages are.  And in Washington County crews were busy Wednesday night with clean up.

A tree fell on top of house in Hudson Falls, and thankfully no one was hurt.

National Grid is reminding people that if they see downed lines or damage poles to treat them as live.

Over 1,700 crews across the state are responding.

Other areas that are still reporting outages are Schenectady County and the Mohawk Valley.
