GRAND ISLAND, NY - A petition and complaints about rides in disrepair and poor customer service at Fantasy Island is circulating the web.

“I’ve seen this park grown from nothing to what it is now — nothing,” said 27 year patron, Angelo Mantione.

Michael Bailey travels to the amusement park from Ontario, Canada and says he’s not getting his money’s worth.

“When you're told that you’re going to get these rides and then you don't - I don't know how you can be anything but not disappointed,” Bailey.

Other season pass holders like Bailey have taken to social media to express concerns about, “poor management and lack of care.”

“These people are not trained,” said Angelo Mantione.

Thousands of customers are demanding refunds on season passes.

The following statement was released by APEX Parks Group.

“We value the feedback from our guests and are reaching out individually to resolve their concerns. We are committed to continued improvements to enhance the guest experience. We are not refunding 2018 season passes or extending their passes into 2019. To ensure the safety of our guests, our rides undergo daily maintenance checks.”

Bailey says he plans on attending another park further away from his home next season. He says all customers are looking for from Fantasy Island owners is transparency.

“What they should have done is from the get go -- said look we've got major repairs to this wave pool. When we dig into the ground, we don't know what we are going to find so, therefore there is a possibility you may not be able to use this ride all year long. Yes people would've been disappointed but at least they would've had the truth,” added Bailey
