The Browns have so many holes and also own the 4th pick so just like last year I believe they should go best player available. To me that is Saquon Barkley who could do for Cleveland what we saw recently in Dallas and Jacksonville with high picks. He has speed, size, agility, and some compare him to Barry Sanders -- sign me up!

2. New York Giants - Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA

The Giants understand the importance of a franchise QB. Eli Manning can be the place holder for a year while Rosen, who is the most polished passer, takes a season to get used to the NFL.

3. Indianapolis Colts - Bradley Chubb, DE, NC State

The Colts, like the Browns, have a lot of needs, but getting after the quarterback is the second most important thing you can do after having a QB. New Colts HC believes he has his is a healthy Andrew Luck. Chubb has all the physical traits you want in a DE and the motor to make him an instant impact player.

This is why the Browns need to take Barkley at #1 because a top flight QB will be there at #4. Two picks and two pieces to build your franchise around.

5. Denver Broncos - Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma

The Broncos have made it pretty clear they want a QB in this draft and I think John Elway wants the "can do it all" Heisman Trophy winner in Mayfield over Josh Allen who's completion percentage will make Elway hesitate.

The Jets were just good enough to not get Rosen or Darnold, but feel lucky that one of the BIG FOUR QBs falls to them and they scoop up the big-armed kid from the Mountain West.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama

Bucs would love to see Barkley or Chubb somehow fall to #7, but that isn't going to happen, so they fill another need and get the best defensive back in the draft in All-American Minkah Fitzpatrick.

8. Chicago Bears - Denzel Ward, DB, Ohio State

The Bears would also love to see Chubb fall down the draft board to them, but like the Bucs they plug a hole by selecting another All-American corner in the Buckeyes Denzel Ward.

James is a freak athlete that possesses the size and speed to cover WRs and TEs which is what today's safety has to be able to do. The All-American starts and stars from day one in SF.

The Raiders need LB help is the worst way and the best fix is Smith. He has the speed and athleticism to cover on 3rd downs and the size and strength to play the run. Put him in a lineup with Khalil Mack and watch the fireworks.

While he is a little undersized for your prototypical DT, he uses that stature to his advantage with speed and power to go with perfect technique and leverage. He is the answer to "who fills in when Kyle retires."

22. Buffalo Bills (from KC) - Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma State

This is a NO TRADE mock, but I do think the Bills will try and move up for a QB; however, if they can't and Mason Rudolph is the best available McBeane should pull the trigger. At 6'5" and 230lbs Rudolph looks like the pro-style QB the Bills want. He won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm (best senior QB) and Sammy Baugh Award (most outstanding passer) and was named 2nd Team All-Big 12, behind Mayfield. I don't see Rudolph as a day one starter, but sign a guy like Josh McCown to groom him for a year and then let it rip.

Bills stay put, still get QB in this no-trade mock

With the NFL Scouting Combine about to begin in Indianapolis, it's officially mock draft season. Version one is a no-trade mock, and the rules being the rules, the Bills can only hope a quarterback slides.

Full disclosure: I believe the Bills will try to move up from picks 21 and 22 to select a quarterback.
