DAYTON, Ohio -- When the Bonnies face UCLA, a fellow 11-seed and one of the most storied programs in the sport of college basketball, it's one program that has won 11 national titles versus one focused for its first NCAA tournament since 2012.
For St. Bonaventure to get their first tournament win in decades:
- Jaylen Adams must return to form. The senior guard was co-conference player of the year, but totaled 25 points in two Atlantic 10 tournament games.
- Who else steps up? LaDarien Griffin, Amadi Ikpeze or someone else in addition to the outstanding starting backcourt of Adams and Matt Mobley must make up for injuries on the roster.
- Forget about the names on the jersey. UCLA is 10 years away from consecutive trips to the Final Four and one year off of a Sweet Sixteen, but Lonzo Ball is not on this team. They're an 11-seed for a reason. Play with that "game seven mentality" that helped win 13 of 14 games and earn an at-large berth.
