Marcell Dareus was traded by the Buffalo Bills to the Jacksonville Jaguars, in exchange for a 6th round pick in next year's NFL Draft.

The defensive tackle was drafted by the Bills in 2011 with the 3rd overall pick, and while he was a Pro Bowl-caliber player in stretches, Dareus had diminished playing time under first-year head coach Sean McDermott.

Dareus will reunite with Doug Marrone, the now-Jaguars head coach under whom Dareus at times excelled.

Highly-scrutinized following suspensions and incidents off the field, Dareus was the highest-paid player on the Bills defense, but that contract was negotiated by former general manager Doug Whaley.
