11-year-old Olivia Ronekar is an expert on packing up food for hungry families. She's run a pantry out of her home since she was five, and shows us that all you need to help a Cheektowaga church is:

  • 2 cans of corn
  • 2 cans of green beans
  • 1 can of cranberries
  • 1 can of turkey gravy
  • 1 box of mashed potatoes
  • 1 box of stuffing

This Thanksgiving, Resurrection Life Food Pantry is trying to fill a need which has doubled over the past four years.

Pantry director Kim Reynolds says like always she knows the City of Good Neighbors will come through. All you need is a brown paper bag and a heart full of holiday cheer.

"It actually makes me cry because this a very a stressful time of the year not just for families, but for us. We are constantly wondering if the food will come in. But, we have never lacked," Reynolds said.

Donations are needed through Sunday, Nov. 11 at noon. Drop off your brown bag full of holiday cheer at 2145 Old Union Road in Cheektowaga.
