Investigators believe a medical emergency caused a deadly crash in Vestal.

Police say 66-year-old Lanny Sullivan crashed into a row of trees near Ridge and Castleman Roads Wednesday afternoon. Sullivan was flown to the hospital where he later died.

An 8-year-old passenger was rescued from the car. He was treated and released for minor injuries.
