VANCE, N.C. -- Vance County officials say they found two bodies in Kerr Lake near Henderson Saturday.

Emergency responders say they received a call about one body in the water, then later discovered a second body and a vehicle in the lake. They say the white Buick sedan was found about 60 feet away from the shore.

Names of the deceased have not been released, but that vehicle matches the description of the car 36-year-old Kesha Smith and 40-year-old Robert Bullock were last seen in when they disappeared from Henderson last week.

Authorities say it's too early to determine if the two are indeed Smith and Bullock.
