After a week of clouds and rain, we will finally see a return to sunshine for the Friday forecast.

The low pressure system that kept the area in clouds and rain on Thursday, will continue to lift to the north through the night. As it does, high pressure will build back into the region. This will decrease clouds and push any lingering drizzle out of the state.

With high pressure back in control of our weather pattern, we can expect sunshine on Friday with below average daytime highs in the 50s.

This high will control our weather into the weekend, giving us more mostly sunny skies with highs near 60 degrees on both Saturday and Sunday.

In the tropics, no tropical system formation is expected over the next three to five days. The Atlantic Basin tropical season ends on November 30.
