HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. – A 29-year-old woman is behind bars for allegedly trying to kill her husband Monday night.

  • Ashlynn Zingraft is behind bars, accused of shooting her husband.
  • Husband, Alan, is in critical condition at UNC Hospital.
  • She is charged with attempted murder. 

Ashlynn Zingraft is charged with attempted murder after police say she shot her husband in Sanford Monday night, leaving him in critical condition.

The incident happened just before 11 p.m. at 55 Oakland Dr.

 

 

 The cause of the shooting has not been released.
