MOORE COUNTY, N.C. – Officials are investigating after a fire broke out at a charter school in Vass Tuesday night.

• A fire broke out at STARS Charter School in Moore County Tuesday night.
• The fire destoryed a shed and a tractor, but did not reach the school itself.
• The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Firefighters received a call about a fire at STARS Charter School around 11 p.m. on Southern Dunes Drive,

Upon arrival the located a large fire near the school.

Firefighters were able to prevent flames from reaching the building itself, but a shed and a tractor were completely destroyed.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
