FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Fayetteville police are investigating a deadly shooting Saturday morning.

Officers responded to McDougal Drive at about 3:45 for a reported shooting.

There, they found a man dead at the scene.

The victim's name is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.
