WAKE COUNTY, N.C. – Kyron Hinton, the man beaten by law enforcement more than six months ago, has again been charged with assaulting an officer in Raleigh.
- Kyron Hinton has been arrested again.
- Police say he was acting erratically at a grocery store Thursday night.
- He is charged with assault and damaging government property.
Authorities say officers responded to a report of a disturbance at the Longview Grocery store on Poole Road Thursday night.
Authorities say officers tried to secure him, but he resisted and started kicking at them.
In addition to the new assault charge, he is also charged with causing damage to government property.
Back in April Hinton accused several members of law enforecement of excessive force.
Troopers Michael Blake and Tabitha Davis and Wake County Deputy Cameron Broadwell all face felony assault charges for that incident.

Hinton has filed suit against the Wake County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Public Safety in that case.
