RALEIGH, N.C. -- An iconic restaurant is celebrating 40 years in the community all week.

• Snoopy's will be giving away half-priced hot dogs to customers all week long
• The restaurant will also be giving away 5,000 wooden nickels, good for $1 off any order of $5 or more
• The week-long anniversary celebration will take place at all five Snoopy's locations until Saturday

Fortieth anniversary Snoopy's t-shirts will be available for sale this week as well.

Snoopy's says maintaining the same product over the years has been pivotal to their longevity in the community.

"More than anything we've got such a great consistent product and we kept the same product for the last 40 years. We've had our same hot dog vendor for that long, our same slaw and chili. We've kept that consistency," said an employee.

The week-long anniversary celebration will take place at all five Snoopy's locations until Saturday.
